Your Teacher, Miroslav

DO Wine & Dine is proud to present Miroslav as our new sommelier and your guide to better wine. Miroslav’s extensive knowledge and passion is a gift that must be shared. He was given the honor of being the Board member of the Cyprus Sommelier Association that is responsible for education. Winner of Trophy Ruinart 2005 Best Sommelier of Cyprus, represented Cyprus in the 2006 European competition for the best sommelier Trophy Ruinart in Paris, France. He then earned the Professional Sommelier award from Association Sommelier International from Director Mr. Giuseppe Vaccarini. He has also won the Gold Medal Awarded by Cyprus Chefs Association for Open Grand prix Challenge – Cook and Serve, wine and food matching 2012 and 2014 and has achieved the WSET Advance level 3 Wine and Spirits London. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to understand the fundamentals of wine and explore a new world of dining experience.


Join us at Do down stairs for the Wine Courses. You will learn about wine in 2 courses on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7:00 to 8:30.


The courses will cover the fundamentals of wine, learning the types and styles and how wine is made, characteristics, how to detect faulty wine, principles of food & wine pairing, storing & serving wine, with a total of 14 wines to be tasted. During the course we will tackle all sorts of questions and aim to challenge common myths about wine – and most importantly increase your confidence in tasting and ensure your next dining experience will be with a different set of eyes.
